Create an account, then click "Add Server" from your dashboard. You'll be redirected to Discord to authorize the bot on your server. Choose a log channel and you're done. Takes less than 2 minutes.
No. CleanChat.AI works out of the box with sensible defaults. Just invite the bot, enable moderation, and it starts protecting your server immediately. All settings can be adjusted through the web dashboard.
By default: hate speech, harassment, threats, NSFW content, and excessive profanity. With modules (Pro+): suspicious URLs, phishing links, flood/spam. With custom rules (Team+): any specific content you define.
Yes. Choose from 3 levels: Cool (tolerant, only flags clearly inappropriate content), Normal (recommended), or Paranoid (strict, low tolerance). Pro plans and above unlock all levels. You can also exclude specific channels.
The bot can warn users, delete messages, timeout (1h/1d/7d), kick, or ban depending on severity. You can toggle auto-delete and public warnings independently. All actions are logged to your chosen channel.
Yes. For the Q&A feature, you can choose between two AI models: a fast model that responds quickly, or an intelligent model with reasoning capabilities that provides more thoughtful analysis. The intelligent model is available on Team plans and above. Moderation uses our optimized fast model for instant response times.
Team plans and above can write custom moderation rules in plain English (e.g., "No discussing competitor products", "Politics discussions are forbidden"). You can even disable default rules and use only your custom ones.
Pro plans and above can approve or reject moderation decisions from the logs. The AI learns from your feedback to calibrate its judgment for your server's specific context and community standards.
Yes. CleanChat.AI detects toxic content and responds to users in their own language. Warnings are automatically written in the same language as the flagged message.
Available on Team plans and above. Upload your documentation, FAQs, or rules. The bot automatically answers community questions using this knowledge base. Trigger it by @mention or let it auto-detect questions.
Yes. Team plans and above can review Q&A logs and provide feedback on answers. When you mark an answer as incorrect and provide the correct response, that correction is added to your knowledge base. The AI will use this to give better answers to similar questions in the future.
PDF files (up to 10MB), TXT files, paste text directly, or import content from any public URL. Text is automatically extracted and processed into searchable chunks.
Yes. Free includes 1,000 messages/month, 1 server, Normal moderation level, and 7-day log retention. Warnings include a small watermark. Great for testing or small communities.
Each Discord message analyzed by the AI counts as one message. Each Q&A response also counts as one message. Messages from bots and messages in ignored channels are not counted.
Yes. Cancel anytime from the Billing portal (linked in your dashboard). You keep access until the end of your billing period. No contracts, no commitments.
Only flagged messages are stored in moderation logs (for your review). Messages that pass moderation are not stored. Logs are automatically deleted based on your plan's retention period (7/30/60/90 days).
No. We don't train general AI models on your messages. The feedback feature only calibrates decisions for your specific server. OpenAI's API (which we use) also doesn't train on API data.
Yes. From your dashboard: "Delete Server Content" removes all logs, knowledge base, and feedback for a server. "Delete Account" removes your account entirely. Support messages are kept for legal purposes but can be deleted on request by email.
Messages are analyzed and flagged content is removed in under 1 second on average. Moderation runs asynchronously so it doesn't block your server. The bot runs 24/7.
